School Bus Registration for the 2024-2025 school year
Transportation Protocols – please read before registering for a bus.
Cariboo Chilcotin School District provides transportation services to all students defined as eligible riders in AP 770 with key requirements being that the student resides outside of the walk limits and attends their catchment school.

Courtesy Rider
Visit the following link for updated information on the SD 27 Courtesy Rider Request Process. This process is only for students not approved for transportation to and from school as eligible riders or those asking for alternative drop off locations for transportation after school. All Courtesy Rider applications will be processed by mid October. For bus routes with abundant available space, approval will be granted earlier. In some rural routes approvals will be provided early in September.
Although our Transportation office accepts applications throughout the school year, priority for the next school year is given to the applications submitted before the deadline of April 30.
SCHOOL BUS REGISTRATION TIMELINE 2025-2026 Year
- Applications received for eligible students between March 1 and April 30 will be processed in the order the application was received and will take until to end of June to complete.
- Applications received between May 1 – July 6, will be processed by the end of August.
- Applications received after July 6 will not be processed until end of August.
- Applications for courtesy riders will be open August 30 – September 30 will be processed before October 15.
